Have you tried to repair laptop power jack? You would think it is easy but it can be very complicated. If for example the positive pin is not making a good contact with the motherboard, the power to the laptop cuts off when you move the power plug inside the laptop power jack. To fix it, you will have to disassemble the computer, remove the solder from the power jack from the motherboard, clean the contacts on both power jack and motherboard, solder it back in place and reassemble the laptop. We do not recommend you try this unless you are an experienced technician. A lot of things can go wrong especially if you have never done soldering work before. Call the professionals.
